Alias of a merged SKU

Last updated about 5 years ago

  •  When you make an Alias from a merged SKU, the Alias will inherit both FBA & FBM inventory from the reference but as MF inventory. Aliases by default are Merchant Fulfilled SKUs and cannot be set as FBA & send FBA inventory for it.
  • The Alias SKU inventory will be sent as MF inventory to Amazon and will be a MF listing on Amazon.

Order Fulfillment:
  • When you get an order for the Alias MF listing, it will route to the reference SKU (which is the merged SKU).
  • Now if you have inventory in both FBA and FBM for the reference SKU, the order will follow your warehouse priority settings.
    • If you have your main warehouse as the top warehouse -> order will route to the main warehouse.
    • If you have FBA as your top warehouse, then this order will get routed to FBA first and the FBA fulfillment fee will apply.
