How do I create a Kit SKU?

Last updated about 5 years ago

In Zentail, a Kit SKU is a SKU that either has multiple units of an underlying SKU (aka "Pack") or multiple underlying SKUs (aka "Bundle).

Here's how to create a Kit SKU from scratch:
  1. On the Catalog page => Click the blue 'pencil' icon button on the bottom right of the page.
  2. Enter your SKU => Click the blue 'check' button on the bottom right to save.
  3. Click the 3-dot icon at the top of the left sidebar => Click "Make Kit"
  4. Enter the SKU you want to include into the "SKU" field => Click "SEARCH" button
  5. Repeat until all underlying SKUs are included.
  6. [If the Kit will have multiple units per underlying SKU] Click the '+' button for the product in the "Kit Contents" section until it shows the # of units desired.
  7. Click the "CREATE" button
Here's how to turn an existing SKU into a Kit:
  1. Find the SKU in the Catalog table => Click on it.
  2. Click the 3-dot icon at the top of the left sidebar => Click "Make Kit"
  3. Enter the SKU you want to include into the "SKU" field => Click "SEARCH" button
  4. Repeat until all underlying SKUs are included.
  5. [If the Kit will have multiple units per underlying SKU] Click the '+' button for the product in the "Kit Contents" section until it shows the # of units desired.
  6. Click the "CREATE" button
