What is a PayPal eCheck and why is the status Payment Pending?

PayPal offers buyers the ability to pay using an electronic check "eCheck". This form of payment takes 3-6 business days to clear and is frequently associated with fraudulent activity. Zentail does not allow orders that are paid for via eCheck to be shipped until a confirmation is provided via eBay that the payment has been received.

We recommend adjusting your eBay settings to require immediate payment -- this will disallow the use of eChecks. If you sell on another channel that accepts PayPal (Pricefalls, or your own shopping cart), and you believe an order is paid for but stuck in Payment Pending status in Zentail, please contact our support team through the Zentail in-app message feature.

Resetting Orders that are stuck in Pending Payment status

Pricefalls is not able to update Zentail with the status of orders that are submitted to Zentail as "Pending Payment". For any order stuck in Pending Payment status:
  1. please check your PayPal account
  2. if the payment has been confirmed, reset the order to Pending in Zentail. This will allow your order to be fulfilled.
