Here's a trick for identifying the best eBay Category ID to ensure your SKU is most searchable on eBay:

1. Search for the product or the best known competing product at eBay.com
2. Click on the highest ranked result
3. When viewing the listing, hover your mouse over the most specific category located at the top of the listing page
4. With your mouse still hovering over the category hyperlink, look for the number included in the URL that appears on the bottom left of your browser view.
5. Instead of hovering, you can also click on the most specific category located at the top of the listing page. This will take you to a page for that category and the numeric category ID will be in the URL.
