What is emu oil?

Last updated about 7 years ago

Emu oil is derived from the fat of the Emu, a flightless bird indigenous to Australia. Aborigines have been using emu oil for centuries to treat their skin and heal wounds.  Emus are able to survive severe desert-like conditions living off their nutrient-dense fat. Fat that’s rich in Essential Fatty Acids such as Omegas 3, 6 and 9.

I only use the purest emu oil in my Bisala Beauty Blends. It is the highest quality grade called Ultra Emu Oil. It was developed by a proprietary process that has been proven to increase emu oil’s natural activity by 45%. It is also 100% pure and fully refined oil certified by the American Emu Association.

There is only one ingredient in my Bisala Emu Oil and that is 100% pure emu oil.

Emu & Avocado Oil is a 50/50 blend of 100% pure emu oil and 100% pure avocado oil.  That’s just two ingredients.
