For open days you will be able to work offline with the information sent back to us when you are back online. You will not be able to access reports when you are offline.
Here are some tips for using the system offline on one and/or multiple devices
- Make sure the day is opened when they have an internet connection
- For each device you are intending to use offline you must load up the open day when an internet connection is present
- After the open day is loaded up, it may be worth putting the device into 'airplane' mode and doing a couple of signing in tests – you can undo these tests immediately
- Once offline, you can use all of the functionality including setting rates, adding supplements, travel as well as sign-in and sign-out
- If you're using multiple devices:
- Those devices won't be able to sync with each other while offline
- For example, if you sign a person in on 1 device it will not show up on another device
- If you're doing this, we'd recommend that you split up the artistes into groups and try to use the same device for the same people – but if you don't do this, at the end of the day all the data will be brought together anyway
- At the end of the day, each device that has been used offline needs to connect back up to the internet where, after a minute or two all the data will sync up between devices – at this point, you'll be able to close the day
