Why are we introducing Capping?

First Bus has made significant progress in offering customers more payment options and encouraging them to pay digitally using contactless and mobile. This has proven to be successful and customers are telling us that they like the ease and convenience these payment options provide.

We are building on this success by introducing Capping on our Eclipse vehicles.  

Capping will help us to demonstrate that we are good value for money and offer customers a simple fares structure. This is something that the results of the recent National Bus Passenger survey said we needed to focus on even further.
