Does money come out of the customers’ accounts straight away?

No, how much the customer has to pay will be worked out at the end of the day and customers will generally see a charge for how much they owe the following day. There will be a customer transaction portal on our website where customers can view how much they’ve travelled and what they’ve been charged for the last 90 days. 

Customers should go to the contactless section on our website and follow the instructions there to access this.
