No. If customers want to pay by contactless, a customer should continue to request the ticket type they want from driver and pay using contactless. If the passenger simply touches the card reader and sits down the system will assume the passenger wants to use tap on tap off – and they will then need to tap off as well. Drivers will need to advise passengers accordingly as tap on tap off launches.
