What happens if a customer forgets to tap off?

If the customer forgets to tap off on the card reader and wanted to enter Capping, they will need to contact Customer Services at 0345 646 0707 between 7am-7pm Mon-Fri and 9am-5pm on weekends and bank holidays. To avoid this happening as much as possible, ask the customer which fare type they would like and remind them to tap off before they leave the vehicle. 

The customer will be charged the day fare of £5.50.
